The Phantoms are back with a vengeance… and the City of Angels will never be the same.
When the world's top supermodel’s friend zones you, what's a determined hockey player supposed to do?
Change her mind.
But it’ll take more than a trick play to convince her.
Cheyenne is more than a stunning beauty; she's a part of my life, my bed, and now my heart.
But she has a plan—one that doesn't include marriage or serious relationships.
She likes me, but its not enough. I need to know if I’m enough.
It’s time to man up and lay it all on the line.

Great Story & Narration🎧Captivating & Heartfelt!
Kat Mizera pens another fabulous novel set in her L.A. Phantoms series, a friends-to-lovers sports romance that captivates your attention from start to end. I adored both lead characters, Ivan Rochenko, a professional hockey player for the L.A. Phantoms, and Cheyenne Russell, a world traveling supermodel. The two meet through mutual acquaintances and hit it off, but she is more focused on her career and is not looking to get involved in a romantic relationship, which disappoints Ivan, but does not stop them from becoming friends or him giving up on her. Cheyenne is only 24 years old, but she knows age plays a big role in her line of work, so she set up a plan, which includes working as many jobs as can now and then move on to something else in five years. Ivan’s focus is on playing, his team and his mother, who sacrificed a lot for him, though he will always make time for Cheyenne. These two were amazing together and perfect for each other, and it was great to watch their friendship morph into something so much more. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn, but so worth the wait romance. It was great to see Harper and Gabe again, as well as some of the other Phantom players. Kat Mizera, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Tieran Wilder and Alex Knox continue to do a fabulous job of bringing these characters to life, giving each a voice that is fitting, accent and all. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Wilder aced it as Cheyenne, showcasing her personality perfectly, including her fierceness and determination, and Knox did the same as Ivan, and was total perfection, accent and all. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These two make a great narration team, their voices complement each other and their performance elevates this already wonderful story to another level. Thank you for another fabulously entertaining listen.

Hot hockey hunk!
Kat Mizera is quickly becoming my favorite hockey author! This is my second book by her and I loved the character development and storyline just as much as the first book. I really liked the chemistry between the two main characters.
Additionally, there are plenty of good secondary characters that will make excellent choices for future books. Looking forward to that!
The narrators did an amazing job with the accents and voices for multiple characters. A good narrator is critical to my enjoyment of a book and these two were fantastic.
