About this listen
Beth Brown’s dream feels so real: a mysterious stranger is gunned down during a violent airplane hijacking, and there’s nothing Beth can do to stop it. But Beth doesn’t believe in premonitions - or does she? How else can she explain the intense connection she feels to the gorgeous man in her dream whom she’s never met? A man she’s determined to save....
Navy SEAL Zane Winters lives for the job, relying on his psychic abilities to keep his fellow soldiers alive. No woman has been able to break through his tough-as-nails warrior mentality - until the day he meets a beautiful blonde who sets his soul on fire. There’s just one problem: Beth is convinced he’s about to die.
To save Zane and the other airline passengers - and to thwart the global crisis the hijacking will unleash - Beth and Zane join forces. But even amid the danger, they can’t deny the powerful force drawing them together. Is it merely attraction…or destiny?

Great minds think alike .
This was an enjoyable thriller with a touch of erotica story. It was well paced and fluent in action ( no padding out) and the story was quite logical even with the " relationship "of our two main characters

No good deed...
Well, no good deed goes unpunished, and that it certainly true here. Behind the scenes ambition, politics and back-stabbing make for a sub-plot which is almost as frightening and threatening as the main story line.
I liked the characters and their individual bravery, rooting for a happy outcome all round.
Call me cynical, but I'm already wondering if this clearing of their names and reputation will stretch over the whole series or whether they will move on soon.
The rest of the series might be on my 'to read' list - eventually. I am afraid the railroading and menace may bore me after a while, so, I'll get to the next one and the re-evaluate.

Not an enjoyable listen
i found the audio version of this book difficult to finish. In fact I would have sent it back for a refund if Audible had not changed the.rules.
Although the narrator gave reasonably different voices to the different characters her delivery became monotonous because of her pitch which seemed to follow the same pattern of rise and fall for every sentence.
When you are listening to a book over 11 and a half hours, rather than reading it yourself in maybe three to four hours, things that you might have skipped over or not noticed can destroy the credibility of the story,
For example the bulk of the book takes place over 24-48 hours. In that time the main female character, Beth, is subjected to a huge amount of stress <spoiler> including prophetic dreams, attempting to stop a hijacking, attempts on her life, and fearing for the lives of her best friends and their young son. In the midst of all this she keeps getting distracted by bouts overwhelming lust. In about a minute she goes from realising that her closest friend has been kidnapped and may be dead to passionately kissing the main male character whom she has known for a couple of hours. This is not the only example of such unbelievable behaviour.</spoiler>
Profanity also becomes much more noticeable when you are listening. There are f-bombs galore in this book, growing in frequency as the story progresses and ultimately adding blasphemy to it. I realise that some will argue that such language is ‘realistic’ and (sadly) commonplace. It is also commonplace for people to be inarticulate and to lack a wide vocabulary. A book written in that style would be tedious if not unreadable.
