Stunning meditation story that was a success!
It never occurred to me to try a meditation story at bedtime and so I am super grateful for the recommendation by a friend as it was an absolute success. I regularly babysit for two little boys who at times can still be quite hyperactive when it comes to bedtime. Both responded really well to the story, and seemed intrigued by the change in their bedtime routine. I stayed in the room with them whilst the story played. The story is very captivating, the mental imagery the story creates is absolutely stunning and the use of music to accompany the narrators voice is very comforting and soothing. I would highly recommend to anyone with young children to give this mediation story a go as part of their bedtime routine.

It works! Truly magical kids meditation.
Meditation + Story = Sleepy Children. Wow, this is such a treat! My kids are used to listening to bedtime stories and meditations but I decided to buy this one as the story we usually listen to was getting a bit monotonous. I felt like it was just boring them (and me!) to sleep. But the story of Sam in Forest of Sleep is incredibly engaging as is the background music. I was hooked from the first line. My eldest who is 6 actually wants to listen to it and wants to go to bed now! Both are usually happy for me to leave whilst they listen away, whoop! The narrator has such a relaxing and soothing voice, they are almost always asleep by the end. I'm a teacher so understand the pressures on children at school so this is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. Thank you

Perfect story to soothe you into slumber!
What a beautifully written story using light, colour and texture words specifically within the story to soothe you into a deep sleep.
Through a mixture of carefully articulated narration, sounds and stunning mind imagery, you feel transported to a dream-like world where you feel relaxed and able to free your mind from all of the day's thoughts.
Aliteration and the use of meditative language draws you into the story and allows you to settle and drift away with it.
I would recommend this to anyone who struggles to unwind before bed, not just children. However, I can imagine this would be a 'lifesaver', for parents with children who struggle with bedtime also!

Forest of sleep
What a beautiful story, with the use of words and level of detail. The rhythm of speech was so relaxing. I'd recommend for my two nephews!

Beautiful story
I’m so happy that I was introduced to this audio book by a friend. My daughter has terrible trouble sleeping, and is often still so alert and stimulated by bedtime. I was a little sceptical at first, having never tried this myself before, however I was so pleasantly surprised. My daughter (and I) felt incredibly calm and relaxed during the book, the narrator has a lovely calm voice which was very a relaxing tone, and easy to hear. The story is beautiful, and my daughter really enjoyed it. It’s great for kids imaginations, but not to the point over over stimulating them so their minds are not ready for sleep. I’m happy to say that my daughter (and I) slept soundly following this. I hope that one day this is made into a paperback book, I think this would be a real hit, and I know lots of mummies and babies who would agree.
