Short story, that allows the two main characters to realise they both had a crush on each other for sometime . Steamy scenes, enough to keep you listening.

From Forbidden to Irresistible
Riley Hartman's novella "Forbidden Night with the Sheriff" takes the reader on a thrilling and passionate journey into a world of small-town romance and unexpected emotions. At the heart of the story are Zac and Olivia, who have known each other for a long time through the friendship between Olivia's brother and Zac. However, because of the friendship between the two men and the age difference between Zac and Olivia, despite the obvious attraction they share, there has never been anything between them.
But when years later, they accidentally bump into each other, they are both now adults and Zac is a single father. Their relationship begins with a one-night stand, but their shared past quickly gives rise to deep feelings. The author skilfully weaves together unexpectedly renewed emotions and past relationships to create a story that readers can easily immerse themselves in.
The characters are realistic and engaging, and although the length of the story does not allow us to fully immerse ourselves in them, we can still identify with them and feel their emotions. "Forbidden Night with the Sheriff" doesn't try to be more than it is - a sexy, romantic novella, perfect for a long winter's afternoon or a few hours of travel. Riley Hartman's style is light and dynamic, which makes the reader lose themselves in the flow of events in no time. The story can also be enjoyed as an audiobook, where the narrator, Daphne Fields, does an excellent job of interpreting the mood of the novella and the emotional depths of its characters.
Overall, Riley Hartman's "Forbidden Night with the Sheriff" is an entertaining and exciting read, giving readers a small piece of an unexpected and passionate romance guaranteed to warm their hearts and draw them into the story's spell. Happily ever after
They both have always been attracted to one another. It started one night and ended in happily ever after. While a little shorter, worth the read.

Great listen.
I really enjoyed listening to this quick story. The characters pull you in right from the start. The chemistry was so good. You're going to love it as much as I did. Happy listening.

NIGHT
I loved the narration of Daphne Fields
Olivia finds herself stranded in Miami without an hotel room. While trying to calm herself she bumps and falls over Zac, a police office from her town and her brother's best friend. When Zac finds out about the her room he offers to share his room. With no other choice Olivia accepts. When alone they both release that they have both had secret crushes on each other.
This is a short but hot story.

He offers to share his room, and initially Olivia declines, but ends up having no choice but to accept. Once they are in Zac's hotel room, it turns out that they have both had secret crushes on each other. That escalated very quickly!
It is a spicy read, started off on fire. The story is not very long and therefor the audiobook is just about an hour long. Perfect for listening while walking the dog!

My favorite trope
Olivia is intown for a job when she runs into her brother's best friend Zach who she always had feelings for with no hotel room because hers assistant forgot to book one Zach offers her a chance to share his. Of course this leads to a steamy night.
