Saba Moor-Doucette
About this listen
It's never too late to get back into fitness and reverse the aging process. Saba Moor-Doucette is the perfect example. At 68, she challenged herself to compete as a Bikini Diva/sports model, and, at 75, ended up an undefeated six-time International Senior Division INBA Bikini Diva Champion. Now she shares her story, her secrets, and her inspirational message with everyone in Fit for Life: Think It, Do It, Be It.
Saba documents her amazing journey and tells us how everything begins with the thought. First, we think it, then we do it, and finally, we embody it, and become the person we've always dreamed of being. She talks us through her process step by step, with empowering affirmations, visualizations, eating tips, exercise tips (even exercises you can do in your car), and lifestyle and anti-aging tips that will keep you looking young and fit for life. She even has a list of the best products and food brands she used to get to her goal.
Saba actually becomes your personal fitness and lifestyle coach as she educates, urges, and inspires every listener with her humor and enthusiastic positive approach to life. And, best of all, Fit for Life tells us how the Think It, Do It, Be It method can work to help you achieve any goal you set for yourself.

interesting viewpoint but badly delivered
very hard to listen to as an audiobook, while the narrator provided interesting tips (though some were outdated) there were lots of lists which are very hard to remember/digest in this format, I could see how it might be better as an actual book. Also somewhat repetitive and the whole long backstory provided little, felt like the information could have been given much more concisely

Something you’d listen to in the 1800s
Fad diet and exercise regimes, not worth a listen. 4 hours of my life I’ll never get back x

Ridiculous spiel, completely useless. Badly read too.
All of the “ideas” presented in this book are outdated and absurd. Fat-shaming yourself into submission, willingly obsessing over diet culture, pouring money into various types of clinic visits and skin/therapy treatments to adhere to superficial beauty standards…! It’s just old-timey, backwards thinking that society is actively trying to move away and heal from these days. I came here for helpful, applicable lifestyle advice and am left deeply disappointed.
Also virtually no post-editing was done at all. Misspoken words, random pauses, wet mouth sounds and long breaths were all audible during this recording- which was horribly off-putting.
Hated it. Pure garbage.
