Summary
I've wanted Andrea since the moment I saw her.
But she's human. I'm drakoni. The only way I'll stay sane and not lose myself to the madness that's swept over my people is if I keep my mental walls strong. I have to give up everything that makes me a dragon. That means no telepathy, no fire breathing, and no battle form.

Awesome steam
Good story. Awesome, amazing mature steam. While the age of the fmc Andrea is known to be 22, there is something (in my opinion) incongruous about her mature sexuality and her inane speech. I found it hard to decide whether this was a story about teenagers or adults. Maybe it was the chatty superficial sounding American narration or the actual text. Liam, the dragon, was voiced by a mature grumbly voiced narrator who was a bit “me, Tarzan, you, Jane” but still sexy in all the right ways. Excellent mate material! The horrid post apocalyptic setting was offset by the twee banter. The sadness at death was offset by the sugary expressions of love. Despite it all being a bit simplistic and at points curiously incongruous, I think that for the right audience, this would be an excellent read. I’m only partially the right audience.

Passionate and perfect.
Loving this series. Characters come to life. Dreamy dragons, believable heroines. Great narrators, Jeremy's voice is like honey. Able to fully loose myself in hhe story, great panacea for my daily pain.

Excellent story
I thoroughly enjoyed this story which had an interesting plot twist which was great. Loved it. Superb narration.

Not my favourite 😬
2,5🌟 I was not a massive fan of this one. This dystopian world sounded better in book 4 (even if it's a total horrible place). The fmc is so preoccupied with what everyone else thinks and says she doesn't live her life, it's extremely annoying, and she is a big part of why I didn't like this much.
Also the story is way too long and I just couldn't get into it.
Great narration and free on audible plus catalogue. Also on KU.
