Summary
Fifteen years ago, she fell into my world. Fifteen years ago, I fell for her. She’s the love of my life. No going back. Loving someone means sacrificing your own happiness to protect them. Loving someone means making them hate you to keep them safe, to get them away from the toxicity that is your world. I destroyed us before we even had a chance to begin…
Can a near death experience bring both my kid and the woman who owns my heart back to me? This is Declan O'Donnelly's story.

Fab
The Five Points books are amongst favourites and being able to listen to the books instead is wonderful. I no longer mind getting stuck in traffic as it allows me to spend more time with my guys.
Filthy Dark is the story of Declan & Aela. This the second chance romance that you didn’t know you needed in your life. Teddy Hamilton & C J Bloom play their parts to perfection.
I’m looking forward to being able to listen to the rest of the series.

Coming home is possible, even with a surprise
A Must Read this collection is brilliant, The Five Points' is just the start of this incredible world that Serena has written I love the way she integrates all the characters from the family in each book and how you can really see the personality of each person come to life. Five Points are a must read for anyone who is a fam of MOB Life and Love.
The audio is brilliant

Binge listening
I have been binge listening to these books for the last two days. They are just that addictive. Cleaning, cooking, driving these narrators have been making me hope I get stuck in traffic to carry on listening.
Filthy Dark follows Declan ODonnelly and his childhood sweetheart Aela. And although these are mafia books they also each have a different trope that follows. This is hidden pregnancy and a rekindled romance. If you’ve read the books the audio are just as awesome.

OMG Declan!
Filthy Dark is the third book in the Five Points Mob Series. I love that we get to know Declan and Aela from the past and Declan and Aela now. Holy hell there is some kink in this book! I love it!
I adore Seamus and how he says what he thinks. He doesn't cower.
We get to know more about the family too. I can't wait for the next book!
Both narrators performed really well! I just love Teddy hamiltons voice. C. J. Bloom did a great job with Aela as well, especially her spunk!

Absolutely loved Declan story a must listen to
Filthy dark is the third book in this series and it is narrated by Teddy Hamilton and CJ bloom and boy do they bring Declan and Aela characters to life and I loved listening to them as Declan the quite brooding O Donnelly and Aela the strong determined women.
They were in love many years ago and things happened and Aela left but what she hadn’t told Declan before she left she was pregnant with his child. Then when Declan is shot and is in a very bad way and might not make Aela comes back and the family find out that Declan has a 14 year old son and to the O’DONNELLY family is everything. They now have a second chance to be together can they make it work and Declan will do everything that he can to protect his son for going into the family business
I loved listening to this story on audio and would recommend you listen to story you get lost in there voices and you can imagine the characters are real with the way Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom bring them to life

Seriously amazing.
I swear these books and the audio are getting better each and every time I open the next one!!
So first i fell in love with Finn, until Eoghan, but now there's Declan O'Donnelly and what I felt for the prior two was nothing.
Declan has the soul of some one so deeply hurt, through actions of not only his ex Deirdre, but also the loss of the actual girl that he loved. Which only happened when he turned his back on her!!
Add to that the lack of understanding by his father primarily, but indeed his entire family. That's enough to have your heart ache for him!!
However to wake up after almost dying to find out that you're a father??
But his heart aches also for Aela. Then she runs away to Ireland thinking that the love of her life, her soul mate, hates her and wishes her dead, not that he ever said that to her!!
All of a sudden they are thrust back together and Declan has to try and get to know a fourteen year old son, whom he was never aware was alive and out there. So what happens now??
The perfect narrators for this particular book is C. J. Bloom and Teddy Hamilton and they are fantastic together. The choices of C. J. and Teddy, (for Aela and Declan,) are two that were as perfect as any two could ever be!!
They brought the personalities out and changed with each different character and well, if I'm honest, if I was to close my eyes and imagine Declan and his voice, then it would be as Teddy portrayed/narrated it!!
But I've read and listened to do many books narrated by both, that it truly did not surprise me to have enjoyed listening to this book at all!!
The only thing that I did more was slightly wrong and that was C.J actually did a slight Irish lilt to Aiden Sr, and there shouldn't have been one. Other than that teeny tiny detail, everything was perfect.
So recommendation is a definite and I'd actually go so far as to say.......
If you don't buy both and listen as you read this book, then you're more certifiable than Aiden Sr himself!!! And as any one whose read and listened to the first two books can attest......
That is one serious statement right there, cos everyone knows just how insane Aiden Sr is!!!!
So off you go then and enjoy 😏😏

So very long and slow….borderline boring
I liked the previous books but this one is a complete flop for me: romance is lukewarm, reason for separation is silly and contrived, there is zero grovelling from the H as h takes him back without questions like he didn’t push her away and broken her heart….
DNF ed with two hours left to go.
