About this listen
Bentley
Growing up, my parents were the embodiment of love.
The perfect example of soulmates, and with that ideal, I couldn't wait to find my true love.
What I didn't realize was just because you love someone, it doesn't mean they’re capable of loving you back.
The day I met her, my entire world shifted on its axis and I knew she was the one.
The problem was, how do you convince someone they’re your soulmate when they don't even believe in love?
There was a time I believed that love truly conquered all, but now I'm losing Faith.
Kayla
My mom once said, "Love isn't concrete. It's an emotion, and emotions are abstract. They change. You don't make decisions based on something abstract because if you do, you’re setting yourself up for failure."
I didn't understand her words at the time. I was young and in love, and if you had asked me to define what I was feeling, it would’ve consisted of words such as affection, warmth, happiness, butterflies, happily ever after.
Now, after experiencing heartbreak firsthand, my definition of love is a bit different. It consists of words like messy, heartbreak, waste of time, unrealistic, fake.
Until I met him. He reminded me of all the words love felt like before my heart was broken.
He wanted to show me the beauty in the abstract, but all I could see was the concrete.

Emotional whirlwind
This was such an emotional whirlwind, Bentley is such a swoon worthy, sweet, caring guy. He falls first and he falls hard.
Kayla is a total cynic when it comes to love, so what happens when she finds her soulmate, but doesn’t want anything to do with love?
I absolutely adored Bentley! This was full of angst, hope, spice, pain, faith & healing.

Fantastic listen!
Get ready to fall in love! This book is so good, and so easy to listen to that I couldn't stop. Kayla is Liz's best friend and her family is jaded when it comes to relationships. Both of her parents are divorce lawyers, and have instilled in Kayla that love is not for keeps. After being hurt in her teens, she takes this advice to heart and is not interested in finding her soulmate. When Bentley first met Kayla, he was smitten. The passion is high, but Kayla leaves and soon finds out that she is pregnant. Now back, Bentley still in love is ready to give this relationship a real shot. But he has to convince the stubborn Kayla. And if he can, will they get their happily ever after? Nikki Ash writes with a few twists and turns I didn't see coming in this one. All the feels, and even some tears are shed making this story feel real. Plus we get to see Liz and Cooper as well as Caleb and Hayley. I loved this one, and can't wait for the next one!
Auri Alden and Theo Sinclair work so well together bringing this gem alive. Alden pulls out the attitude covering Kayla's fear of love. She is vulnerable, yet stubborn and made her extremely realistic. Sinclair is fantastic as Bentley. He is warm and loving. His emotions are felt through the story as he fights for what he wants. Love this team, and enjoyed the listen.

Skiddish woman!
Kayla was hurt by her first boyfriend. Her family is not supportive and she doesnt believe in love anymore. Then comes this awesome former fighter and little by little cracks her shield. There's so many emotions in this book. Lovely narration.

🌟🌟🌟🌟
I loved Nikki Ash audio books so easy to listen too 5 star reading!
I read this series a long time ago and I was excited to listen to them, was not disappointed.
I loved Kayla and Bentley in the first book, at points I wanted to shout at Kayla for her behaviour but I also got it sometime with parents like hers.
I loved Bentley as a dad, wow he amazing. He my favourite out of the gang.
If not picked up this series it a great one. The books are in KU so can get whisper sync on them cheaper normally.

Secret Pregnancy Romance with Swoony Hero
I have read a lot of this author's newer work and really liked it. Unfortunately, this one did hit a little different. Fighting with Faith is a secret pregnancy romance with a lot of bumps along the way.
Kayla was raised by detached parents who taught her marriages are more of a contract business arrangement and less "for love" because that would get her nowhere except with left with a broken heart. After an experience in high school proved her mother right, Kayla closed off her heart and only opened herself up to one night stands. Bentley has always wanted more with Kayla but unfortunately Kayla wasn't open to a relationship and she moved away
When Bentley finds out Kayla is pregnant he goes all in...again. The journey to get to this happly ever after was definitely a tumultuous ride.
I have not read the first book in the series but I felt like I had all the information needed to understand most things. For the most part I really liked Bentley though there was a couple times his decision making was not the best. He was definitely an amazing dad and that made this book. Honestly, Kayla's back and forth just about did this book in for me. It was just too much and I wanted off the ride after awhile. It was truly a miracle Bentley wanted her as much as he did by the end, and I honestly can't even point out why that might be.
The narration of the story was very well done. Both Auri Alden and Theo Sinclair weretruly fantastic in bringing this story to life. I am interested to get into Caleb's story and I am hoping it parallels more of the author's more recent work I have read which I have enjoyed more. PinkFlamingoProductions TheFlockVIPReviewTeam

Amazing dual narration from Auri Alden and Theo Sinclair
Kayla doesn't believe in love, as she was raised to feel marriage should be a business arrangement. So she has kept her heart closed. But one night she meets Bentley in Miami. Five years they meet again and Bentley shows Kayla he's the man for her. Kayla wants Bentley, but she's too scared, and pushes him away. Six months later Bentley finds out she’s pregnant. The two of them now need to sort out there feeling and must deal with a baby on the way.

Faith For the Win! Great Story & Narration🎧
Kayla was Liz’s best friend in the first book of this series, her rock through thick and thin, and I was looking forward to her story and Nikki Ash does not disappoint one bit. Kayla has jaded views on love and marriage and not just from having had her heartbroken at a young age, but because her parents’ views on it are just as jaded. I did not care for her parents at all, who were only out for themselves and were never there for their daughter or son. I am not even sure why they had children because they certainly would not win any parents of the year awards, ever. Despite crappy parents, she was a loving aunt to Liz’s daughter, but her jaded heart does not allow her to open herself up to a romantic relationship and is fine with just one-night stands. She met Bentley through Cooper, Liz’s love, and it was an instant attraction for Bentley, but Kayla would not budge, swore relationships were not for her. The story goes back in time and we get glimpses of when they first met and then back to the current time. The chemistry between those two was undeniable, so they spent more time together before moving back to Florida. She had her reasons for leaving, one being her unplanned pregnancy, a pregnancy she did not share with Bentley, who had given up on her and was ready to move on. Nikki Ash made these two work for their HEA. Bentley knew what wanted, she knew what she did not want. He almost gave up on her, but his heart wanted what his heart wanted, and he stuck it out. There is never a dull moment in this book, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The story has plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Bentley was such a sweetheart and Kayla deserved to be loved and to have a loved one, she just needed to open her heart and let down those walls. Nikki Ash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧Audi Alden and Theo Sinclair were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters would sound. Alden nailed it as Kayla, grasping every aspect of her personality, and Sinclair did the same for Bentley, swoon worthy and all. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Love Conquers Doubt
In this captivating audiobook, narrated by Auri Alden and Theo Sinclair, the story of Bentley and Kayla unfolds, exploring the complexities of love against the backdrop of their vastly different upbringings. Bentley's unwavering belief in love, nurtured by his warm family environment, clashes with Kayla's skepticism, rooted in her parents' pragmatic view of relationships. Their journey, marked by a surprising twist that binds them closer, is a rollercoaster of emotions, beautifully brought to life by the nuanced performances of Alden and Sinclair. Their narration adds depth to the character's struggles and triumphs, making this a deeply engaging listen about the power of love to transform and heal.

Sometimes I wanted to shake her
This is the first book in this series I've read and I had quite a lot of trouble connecting with Kayla but only because she's a bit too much like me. But with how loveable Bentley is I just wanted to shake her. And don't even get my started on her mother. I need the next book in this series after the ending to this.
