About this listen
He’s my brother’s best friend.
I’m his opposite in every way.
Being a pencil pusher isn’t what I had in mind when I joined the FBI.
So when I finally get a chance to prove myself, I won’t let anyone mess it up.
Especially Harrison Everhart, my brother’s best friend and former Army Ranger.
He’s quiet and lethal - but also incredibly loyal. Harrison doesn’t mind bending the law to get things done. He’ll do whatever it takes to do the right thing.
And that may just mess up my big break.
I know he’s willing to fight with me, but if I give him my heart will he fight for me as well?
Fight for Me is an opposites-attract, military romance with action, adventure, and plenty of steam. This angsty listen is both fun and emotional, as Luna and Harrison bring justice to the bad guys and heat up the bedroom. This is the second book in the Everhart Brothers series by USA Today best-selling Author Claudia Burgoa.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧Gripping & Heartfelt!
I am loving the “Everhart Brothers” series, each book features a different brother and this second book is Harrison’s story. Harrison’s parents were killed on September 11th and the brothers’ lives were forever changed. Scott and Harrison were to look after their two younger brothers, but Harrison wound up enlisting in the army to fight for our country and to get vengeance for their parent’s death. Back home and in civilian life, he is still going after bad guys working for a private agency who takes on different cases and missions, often working with other government agencies. He also works with two others he served with, Hawk and Tiago, and when Tiago asks him for a favor, to look out for his sister, he agrees to, he just did not know what he was in for when he agreed to do that. Luna Santillan, an FBI profiler, who is on a mission to get and take down a known criminal up in New York, she puts her plan in motion, has a place to stay thanks to her brother Lucas who hooked her up with an apartment. But when her other brother, Tiago, catches wind of it, that apartment is not safe enough for her and he and Harrison find her a safer and more secure place. Luna is brilliant, her mind, her personality and her fierceness, I loved how over protective her brothers were, even Harrison, but when their worlds collide, he gets to see in action it was not only jaw dropping he was in awe and he wanted her, for himself and for the team, she would be a great asset for the organization. There is never a dull moment in this well written and the cleverly plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, smart and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jason Clarke and Stephanie Németh Parker were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They did a fabulous job portraying the characters, and I loved how they took each role, ran with it and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I pictured them to sound. Stephanie Németh Parker nailed it as Luna, grasp every side of her personality, from her fierceness and determination to her caring side, and Jason Clarke did the same in his role as Harrison. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions which were heard in their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Harrison & Luna!
This series is so powerful for me. I can remember the day the twin towers were attacked like it was yesterday, and living through the trauma with the Everhart Brothers is extremely emotional. This is the second book in the series and features Harrison. He is the last person to speak to his parents alive, and lives with their words everyday. After the tragedy, he enlisted to seek his own revenge, but when his younger brother Hunter was in trouble, he came home. Now still finding the criminals, he finds himself being asked by Tiago, a friend who was enlisted with him, to watch out for his little sister Luna. Luna is an FBI agent, independent, but does have an agenda. She doesn't need to be looked out for, but there is something that draws Harry to her. These two are odds at first, but when they finally do acknowledge their attraction and come to an agreement to enjoy each other while working together, they find there is more than just lust. There is so much to this couple that I absolutely love. Harry is quite a man, as he has dealt with so much in the past. Luna lightens his life, and it's a wonderful thing. But she carries dread in her heart. Will these two be able to get past the darkness and find their happily ever after? Fast paced, filled with action and a slow burn that is waiting to explode, this is by far one of my favorite of all the Claudia Burgoa stories I have listened to.
Jason Clarke and Stephanie Németh Parker are our storytellers and it's fantastic. Clarke is a strong, alpha male, but has no trouble showing the emotions that Harrison carries. Parker is fierce as Luna. Brave and strong to a fault, she shows her true heart as Luna's love grows. It's a fantastic pairing and wonderful listen.
