That Moment Alone Was Worth Purchasing the Book
When I first listened to a few pages this week, it instantly made me want to do something. It's not that I'm terribly unhappy with our family life, but you know. There is always something to improve.
So I cleaned up all surfaces in our living room and put all unnecessary things away. I set up a little playing idea for each of my kids. A little tray with only blue and green lego bricks for my three-year-old. My six-year-old got a book that we haven't read in a while and a magnifying glass.
We had a great morning! I was curious how things would work, so I got up together with them. They were playing quietly, and I was just sitting there for 45 minutes, observing the two, a coffee mug in my hands.
That moment alone was worth purchasing the audiobook!
In the book, you will find a guide on how to approach your family and get everyone on board. Furthermore, how to apply minimalist concepts to every room and how to create a stimulating environment for your child. There is even a chapter on toyless activities for the whole family that can replace playing with toys or screen time. Keeping Things in Order and Digital Minimalism are two other chapters.
It's more of a workbook that you can benefit from for a long period of time. I like it!
