Editor reviews

Deeply disturbed and unquestionably spooky, Festival of Fear is a horror lover's favorite nightmare! Graham Masterton has done it again with these 12 short but terrifying stories. Robert Slade's voice performance only serves to enhance Masterton's intention to frighten. Slade is able to make us truly empathize with and fear for Masterton's character as they face down one horrifying scene after another. Fast-paced and deeply chilling, Slade and Masterton combine as a ruthless duo in these wonderfully macabre tales.

Good read

Very easy listening and entertaining. The stories are well formatted . And the reader was excellent at his job. And they were in some places spine tingling

Not in the least scary or macabre

I normally enjoy Mastersons books but this was not up to his usual standard - and the narrator was little better but perhaps he was bored too. I managed 4 of the stories but with my interest waning, just gave the rest up. It might suit you but I enjoy scary from this author and this just didn't measure up. Will return with regret.
