Summary
He warned me what would happen if he lost control. I didn't listen.
He told me to stay away from him, that if I got too close he would not be able to stop himself. He would pin me down and take me so fiercely my throat would be sore from screaming before he finished wringing one savage, desperate climax after another from my helpless, quivering body.
Part of me was terrified, but another part needed to know if he would truly throw me to the ground, mount me, and rut me like a wild animal, longer and harder than any human ever could.
Now, as the feral beast flips me over to claim me even more shamefully when I've already been used more thoroughly than I imagined possible, I wonder if I should have listened to him....

I Enjoyed it
Feral by Sara Fields is a Sci-Fi Alien romance set in a future where unethical scientific experiments and possible government involvement exist.
This story was a fast-paced, imaginative erotica and a quick read. With heart-pounding action, off the charts hott steamy scenes and a couple of likable characters this story held my attention until the end. There were slight hints of mystery, secrets and genetic experiments included in this tale but the main focus was the explicit scenes.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Bo Alexander. At the beginning of this novel it was difficult to determine the gender of the character as there was no distinction in the narrators voice and no actual mention in the story so it was a bit confusing to start. Eventually it became obvious and I was able to better follow along with the story. Apart from that beginning I did enjoy this narrator.
If you are looking for a quick steamy read check this one out. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Standalone Dark Sci-Fi Romance
Feral by Sara Fields is a Standalone Dark Sci-Fi Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Bo Alexander. This is the first book of Sara’s that I have read and look forward to reading more from her in the future. Bo did a great job narrating. The only down fall was that he did not change tone for each character. I liked that the book switched between Axel and Cosima points of view so you could really get into both characters head. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Dark Romance and a bit of Sci-Fi.

An intense, dark, sci-fi romance
Feral is a dark sci-fi romance that takes place on Earth in the year 2172. The MCs are Cosima and Axel. The book is written in first person with the majority of the chapters being in Cosima’s POV. Cosima goes to a place known as Echelon 67 which is a top secret government facility. She is a journalist and she is there to try and find out the truth about some recent deaths that have been attributed to animals. The action in this book begins soon after Cosima is found in one of the labs. She meets Axel soon after that when he rescues her from being attacked by one of the last surviving Echelon 67 test subject (Saleos). Axel is the only other survivor, besides Saleos. Both of them are hybrids known as Alienus Bestia. The book takes place over a relatively short period of time and focuses on the development of the relationship between Cosima and Axel, avoiding Saleos, and Axel trying to get Cosima out of Echelon 67 before the place is destroyed. This is an intense book, especially during the sex scenes with Cosima and Axel. In the book’s description, there is a “warning” about the content in this book, so I recommend that you pay attention to it, especially if you don’t like those types of sex scenes. This book was my first time reading this author and it was also my first time reading an “alien” romance. The author did a great job creating the world of this book. I think it was pretty well developed and she did a great job of providing background information about Echelon 67 and the things that happened there that were pertinent to the storyline. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and was fascinated by the story that the author told. But this is not the type of story that I can read an a regular or frequent basis, just because of how intense some of the scenes were. The narrator did a good job of performing the book. The only complaints that I have are that the narrator didn’t always put a lot of emotion in his voice (he sound monotone at times when it seems that he should have emoted anger or fear) and I would have liked to hear a female narrator perform Cosima’s chapters. Once again, I really enjoyed this book overall and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys dark sci-fi romances. I will definitely check out some of this author’s other works in the future.

Definately feral!
A sweet short story with a difference (lots of heat, if a little repetitive) I liked the idea of the additional anatomical reference In the hot spot.
I was confused at the beginning as I thought the character talking was male so I though it was same sex, but I was soon put right.
Bo Alexander has a nice voice to listen to.

Passionate
This storyline is so full of passion. I think the narrator did a really great job in bringing the storyline to life and would happily read and listen to this duo again.

Fantastic
This is what I have come to expect and love from a Sara fields novel. The characters are well thought out and the story leads naturally to the smutty side of the story very well albeit quickly. A very enjoyable novel

There’s a lot of heat here!!!
Cosima is looking for a story and stumbles into something she should have run from! Salios wants her, but will kill her if he gets ahold of her. Axle saves her and takes her somewhere safe. Salios and Axle are not fully human, but Axle can control his beast and Salios cannot! Salios doesn’t give up easily!
What happens?? I can’t tell you!! You’ll have to listen!!
Sara Fields has written a good story!
This is my first Bo Alexander listen, and I think his voice fits the male characters very well!!!!

Great narrator
Feral is a sci-fi alien BDSM erotic romance, focused on dominance, submission, and punishment. Axel is a genetically engineered alien modified with human DNA. Cosima used to be a science test and looking for a story. The conflict is between Alex's evil brother, bent on killing humans, Cosimo and Alex. Most of the audiobook is explicit scenes. Feral is an erotic fantasy; if you are looking for a sci-fi romance with a rich plot, this is not it. The writing was great and well-paced. Bo Alexander did a wonderful job with the narration. He has a smooth and very pleasant voice.

Deliciously dark and wonderful smut!!
This story was simply delicious! It was full of sexy, dark smut and I loved it! The storyline was imaginative and entertaining. There wasn't a lot of time for character building because the story was relatively short but I feel that Sara Feilds did a great job defining the two main characters in the time she had. I was able to connect with them and the narrator definitely helped with that. Their performance was great! I could listen to Bo Alexander all day!! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great, sexy escape!
