Absolutely excellent in all fields.

I do like Anita Waller’s writing and am familiar with the setting of the books. The story is very good, balanced, and with good pacing. I can see a similarity to the author’s Cat and Mouse stories, but the Forrester Detective Agency ones have a harder edge which is more realistic, and also more tense.
I was impressed by the narrator, too. I have other audiobooks narrated by him that have felt lacking in characterisation during the narration, but perhaps I need to give Mr Burnip another chance. Altogether, an excellent book.
