Summary

Subtle, soothing, simply beautiful
I read everything Karla Sorensen writes and I’ve loved her evolution as an author. Her words are simply beautiful and this was strengthened here by both narrators for me. Both voices were calming and delivered her story wonderfully. Often times, I find some narrators, like SP, can overwhelm a story and take away from its beauty; Kay and Crais only added to this story.
Sorensen’s Ward family will become one of your favourites as the all find their loves. Claire and Bauer’s story illustrates how a fear of love and family can be overcome with the right person and that they are worth waiting and fighting for. It’s a book you won’t regret reading or listening to. LUC x
