Fair Catch
This is a great sport romance. This book jumps forward a little bit before Eden and Graham's story, in the first book. Loved this book. It is such an easy listen. Teddy and Reagan did an amazing job again. Can't wait to start the next book!

Caleb & Jodi!
I have to say, football is not my sport of choice, by SR Grey knows how to make me love it! Fair Catch caught my heart and held it captive the entire listen! Caleb is the new tight end on the Colorado Comets. Needing to prove he is not a washed up athlete, he has no interest in a relationship. But when he sees a woman obviously looking to get out of her date, he comes to her rescue.Jodi has no faith in love, so going on a blind date in place of her best friend is not exactly her forte. But when Caleb comes to her rescue, all bets are off. This instant chemistry is felt from the minute they lay eyes on each other. From here Grey works her magic and creates a story that makes you smile, occasionally laugh, become frustrated and just feel good. She has a real talent for engaging her listeners by giving a story that is not only fun and well written, but gives us an escape into their world. With overlapping characters, we have that sense of knowing them, giving it that home feeling. I loved Caleb and Jodi, getting a look at other team members(I loved Dumbo as a nickname) and the little edge of suspense. Another entertaining listen!
This narration team of Teddy Hamilton and Reagan West enhances Fair Catch! Hamilton always finds the best voice and personality for his characters and he is spot on for the dashing Caleb. West too has a way of personalizing her characters and she does an outstanding job with Jodi. Each brings individual qualities to this dual narration combining to make an enjoyable listen.

Fabulous Story & Listen🎧 Entertaining & Enjoyable!
S.R. Grey writes another fabulous novel set in her “Men of Fall” series, she is truly a master at writing sports romance. The story immediately captures my attention and holds it straight to the end. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored the two leads, Caleb a 27 year old football player who wants to prove that he is not at the end of his glory on the field and that he still has it as a tight end. He is picked up by a team in a newly created league, the Columbus Comets. He is committed to give it all he has got. Jodi’s business partner and best friend, Becca, asks her to do her a favor, to go take her place on a blind date. Jodi reluctantly agrees and it turns out to be the worst date ever but thanks to a quick thinking savior the night ends well. I loved how Jodi and Caleb first meet, also loved how everything plays out in this book. The story flows naturally and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, both relationship and team, some angst, some twists & turns, heartfelt moments and some hot romance. S.R. Grey, thank you for another great and entertaining story.
Reagan West and Teddy Hamilton are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They do a fantastic job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture and project the characters emotions into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

A lot of potential
I was excited about this book because of... hum... the narrators, and because it's a sport romance. Neither disappointed: the narrators did a great job, and there's really some football in this sport romance. The rest, though...
I liked the characters. Jodi is fun and her relationship with her best friend is priceless. Caleb looks like an alpha male but is instead a real gentleman. They meet when he saves her from a terrible blind date with the local a**hole--the new quarterback of the Comets where Caleb plays as tight end. The dynamics between the trio, plus Bridezilla, the horrible bride Jodi is working for, is great. A real trainwreck.
Everything happened too fast though. The chapters are short and to the point. I didn't have time to really dive into the story. And there wasn't enough tension for my taste--the real obstacle to the relationship appears near the end, and is quickly resolved.
A lot of potential, and I may come back to this author because I really enjoyed her characters. Not the masterpiece I was expecting though.
