About this listen

In a dystopian future where a single organization controls all goods and services, thousands of impoverished Americans abandon pride and freedom to become part of Everything Incorporated. When Paul Harper, alone and failed, makes his way to Enterprise City, will he find fulfillment in a new beginning, or be buried underground, like all he's left behind?

Everything Inc. is a story of perseverance and redemption. Finding purpose in a world where purpose has been removed.

Strange little audiobook

In the near future the earth is barren there is no real cities and people are starving and willing to do anything for food and shelter possibly a new beginning. There is one city called and ran by Everything Corp and they promised food and shelter for work and you had to sign a document saying you stay and give everything you had to Everything Corp.
But people come to work one day and sometime just disappear the next the city will provide you everything you need and want for a price and no one was to question anything that went on or were the people who disappeared went all you had to do is work, smile and be happy. Everything Corp controlled everything and gave you just enough to put some credits in your pocket and a very small cell aka room to sleep in and you could not visit your neighbors make friends or be punished or disappear.
The characters in here work together and start questioning things why are people living in the tunnels under Los Vegas, Why is there so many housing units buildings but not enough work for all of them and finally why it takes five men to do the work of one.
so one takes a journey to find answers visit the tunnels, meet other people and see why they are were they are and finally what is in the mysteries power plant.
The story is well written and narrated and I am sure you will also enjoy the journey of the main character and yours from listening to the audiobook.
