Essential listening to understand Western Culture
If you have any interest in who we are and where we came from in the Western World, this is absolutely essential reading. Each lecture flies by and summarises the key changes in Europe in less than 30 mins, with a pace fast enough to keep your interest throughout.

A Great Great Course
Exactly what it says - a good overview of the key landmarks in modern European history. Great pace and level of detail. Very engaging delivery. Very listenable voice. Highly recommend.

Fascinating
Professor Childers is excellent. His style of presentation keeps the listener completely engaged as he takes you on a journey through the key events of the past two hundred years of European history.
