Post-apocalyptic police procedural
I liked the narration in this book and the way the author introduces the world. I can already tell this world has more stories in it yet.
This isn't my normal kind of genre but I actually finished it in one sitting - I guess it was the break I needed.
I was a bit frustrated by the ending - I can't talk about it without spoilers.

Strong characters and good writing
Isabella Espinoza is an incredibly confident and well portrayed character. Which I like. The other characters and the world that is built around them is also well written. The narration is good and I really enjoyed listening to this book!

Exciting new series, I can't wait for more!
An amazing start to a new series, it was exactly as described in the synopsis, no false advertisement there! It was an action packed, edge of the seat read with excellent narration. The description of the life since the introduction of the Void and Night Stalkers is vivid and chilling, the characters are compelling, and the hint of romance between FMC Detective Isabella and petty criminal Jack is an exciting compliment to the plot, CEO Camela is the perfect villain. I was hooked from the beginning and can't wait for the next book, it can't arrive soon enough. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
