About this listen
Ty Wilcox doesn’t really believe in superheroes. Then one is murdered right in front of him.
Ty is just a normal guy trying to do his best. He’s single, stuck in a dead-end job with the most hateful boss in the universe, and struggling under a mountain of debt. When he witnesses an impossible battle between two superpowered people, every instinct he has tells him to run. Instead, he becomes the owner of a device that can change his life in ways he can barely imagine. All he has to do is survive for long enough to learn how to use it.
Warning and minor spoilers: Enhancer is a book intended for mature listeners ages 18 years and older. It describes sex, violence, and nudity. It includes light gamelit elements, occasional bad language, and is set in a cyberpunk alternate future. Within its pages, you will find attempted murders, actual murder, home invasions, kidnapping, fights, betrayals, destruction of property, random deaths that can be considered self-defense, a really malevolent boss who treats Ty very badly, and a monstrous bad guy who treats him even worse. Most importantly, you will find gorgeous superheroes and beastkin beauties who are comfortable with unconventional, polyamorous, harem relationships, and there are waffles on offer, as well.
Listen at your own risk.

Interesting premise
If you're after a down on his luck protagonist coming into a sudden windfall and forced romance then I can't fault the book.
It was a great shame the romantic elements in this book were very immaturely handled left me acutely aware that I was not the target audience honestly put me off the story deer kin and a device that makes everyone wanna bone each other is a big YIKES.
So yes TLDR: Great premise, Fun action, Poor romance.

Excellent start for a new series!
About the story; This is the first book of a series, so we get to meet the main character, meet some of the villains and friendlies. I read the book before I listened to the audible narrative and I recommend a look over at Kindle for the more elaborate story reviews. In short; A regular young man stumbles on to a street fight and gets partnered with an electronic wrist device by accident. This single action turns his world upside down...some for good, like suddenly he's gained the interest of some gorgeous superpowered women...but some for the bad too, because the bad guys are now highly interested in him or more, his device, too... And the battle between good and bad commences! All the wile our MC starts finding his role and his way in this new reality that is now his life. Although I have to admit that the idea of " regular guy meets gorgeous superwomen" isn't something I can call original, the story itself, the situation, the path to be taken...that is...and in my personal opinion, I like the way this series starts off! The narrative, as told by Chris Graves is easy to follow, very well articulated and has plenty of emotion in the voices. Although Graves alone does all the voices, I found it easy to accept a bit further into the narrative, like someone telling a good campfire story...well if those stories take 7+ hours! I do believe reading the story first helps, but it isn't absolutely necessary. Hope to see more future installments!

an enjoyable romp
the story is entirely enjoyable. Nothing that will rock your world or make you sit back and re-evaluate you life. simply a great way to spend time.
the blurb tells you everything else you need to know about the story...
as to the narration Chris brought it to this one, both males and females were perfectly voiced and you could recognise them by their voices alone.

Could be worse
Could be far better. MC is just your normie looser boy without any quality. Not a Bad dude but not a good guy either, but all the héroïnes fall immediatelly in love with him. The bad guy is stupid as well.
