Summary
It was time to prepare for a new kind of race—the race to Kallie’s heart.
Sloan
As the son of a Formula One racer, the need for speed was in my blood. But in the blink of an eye, my life in the fast lane came to a screeching halt.
With my racing career gone, I had no choice but to endure a new way of life. And that’s when I met her—Kalliope Benton Riley.
She wasn’t my usual type at all. She was a total hippie, packaged to perfection with flowy dresses and rainbow-colored hair wraps. She had outlandish ideas about the stars, the moon, and predetermined destiny. Ridiculous.
Yet, I couldn’t turn away from her mesmerizing green eyes. She was more than a pit stop. She was my addiction—my checkered flag.
Kallie
Six years ago, a psychic gypsy gave me a warning. She said I was cursed when it came to romance and destined for a life of disappointment and heartache. She was right.
So when the opportunity to move across the country presented itself, I was more than ready for a change—but that change was not supposed to include someone like Sloan Atwood.
He was arrogant and cocky.
Avoiding him should have been easy, but every time I looked at him, the attraction grew stronger.
I couldn’t help but wonder if maybe—just maybe—Sloan could be the one to break the curse. Then I saw a California sunset.
The gypsy had warned me about those too. As the sun dropped lower in the sky, my heart knew I couldn’t box this lap.
There would be no winners in this race. Total shutdown was the only way to prevent permanent damage.

Sweet and Emotional Romance!
This is the third book in the Fade Into You Series. Sloan and Kallie's story is beautifully written, emotional, and steamy, filled with drama, and romance. I liked the banter, and the humor in the story. The supporting characters, and their friendship, are amazing. I loved it! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did a fantastic job with the narration. Loved the dual narration from Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott, perfect
Sloan is a race car driver, finds himself takings drugs and drink to cope with his wounds after a tragic crash. Kallie works in PR and is hired to help clear up Sloan's image. Right away there is a connection between these two. Kallie tries to fight it at first but the draw is too strong. Major chemistry and steam. Can Kallie's free spirit help Sloan. Wonderful characters.

Sloan & Kallie
Endurance was my first Dakota Willlink work and what a great book it was.
At a time when his life couldn’t get any worse, Sloan and his agent hire a Kallie has his PR rep to work their magic with his image. When Sloan first sees Kallie whilst drunk he believes she was a mirage but when they finally meet he can’t believe she is real. The chemistry between them is off the charts and they just can’t avoid to gravitate toward one another. This book is full of drama and angst but is also very sweet. Sloan is one of the sweetest H I’ve ever listened/read.
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicot narrate this awesome audiobook that would be a real shame not to listen to.

Kallie and Sloans destiny.
Kallie goes to try to improve Sloans reputation following an accident which prevents him from continuing his race driving career. Kallie is a believer in fate and the stars, fighting her attraction initially for Sloan. When they do settle into some form of a relationship, setbacks force them into making decisions that will either break or make their relationship. This is a steamy book, and though the third book of the series, it could be listened to without having heard the first. The follow on is that Kallie is the daughter of Cadence and Fitz from the first two books.

fantastic
Loved this story about Sloane and Kallie, it was even better because the narrators made it come alive. When Sloane met Kallie he was floored, she definitely wasn't his type, but you know what they say.

Seems Disconnected from the Others
As a believer in the metaphysical, I appreciate when someone can write a story which incorporates these aspects in a respectful and not cartoonish way. I did enjoy this story, but it doesn't even remotely feel connected to the original story even slightly, and less so to the second book, honestly. Other than the MFC being the daughter of Fitz and Cadence, I don't see how this is a part of that series, so I wasn't as captivated by this as I may otherwise have been. There were a few problematic elements which probably needed a bit more realistic attention, but overall for a fictional story it's okay. It's just not the same realistic, overwhelmingly moving story as the first book in the series was, and I didn't connect with it in the same way for those reasons.

Well deserved 2 nd chance romance
Kallie is a gal that is in tune with the universe and was once told she would be heart broken by a man who kissed her under the Californian setting sun by a fortune teller.
Many years later as a successful PR manager she puts positive spin on celebrities when their reputations have plummeted in the papers and sometimes outright crashed and burned.
Kallie comes in with her pixie dust and fairy wand and sprinkles her magic and tries to get them looking Uber clean, positive and hopefully the public regains their trust in them and falls in love with the old cleaner version of the celeb!
However when she gets to California she didn’t bank on Sloane the injured washed up race car driver who drives her pulses up the wall and sends her into overdrive. Will she give into her feelings or will she put her trust in an old fortune teller at a carnival. Especially when he makes her lady parts throb like a speedway car!
Chemistry through the roof and relationship is funny sweet. Their extended friends are hilarious. However can distance love work will hearts break?
This is my voluntary review for a copy from Booksprout.
