Summary
Val thought it was over, having gambled with fate itself for the lives of all those he loved.
He did not expect to wake up in a hospital bed, in the crosshairs of a professional killer.
A friend he thought lost forever shows him a mysterious game that only a select few can jack into. It's the perfect escape, and what seems a fun lark becomes all too real as he enters a realm where level-ups affect both worlds, dying in game is dying for real, and no one is hungrier for Val's secrets then the men hunting for his head.
Time is running out for Val and everyone he loves.
So much for happy endings.

difficult at start gets better
narration is excellent, same as the first two books.
my difficulty is with how the author moves the main character from the alternative world to the current world which is the same issue I had with book one. However once past that the book picks up pace and delivers as you would expect (I assume you have listened to the first two books!) This book more fully merges the two worlds so I hope the next books make it easier to move forward with the story rather than the confusion of being reborn as it were. Overall a good story I will certainly by the next one

overall a good listen.
overall it is a enjoyable listen, however the author makes the listener experience all of the mc:s challenges and that included his confusion, and that made the experience somewhat stale at times, the story became so much better when the mc:s mind got fixed, imo.

One of the best LitRPG around
The book dose start of a bit slow, But dose pick up it's pace quick, Once again the M.H knock it out the park.
The ending was perfect and the story really well done. The Narrators really bring this book to life, one of the best I have ver listened to
