Fascinating and informative
A fascinating - if at times necessarily gruesome - account of the lesser known and lesser taught (at least in the UK) endeavours of the Russian military during the second world war.

Have we in the West learnt any lessons from Stalin’s defeat of Germany in the East in WWII and beyond?
How can you say that a book that has as its subject matter a bitter conflict that involves the deaths of millions

dimbelby loves churchill
after listening to this book I felt so strongly that I should write a review I bought this book as it was one of the few books out there that claimed to be about operation vibration what you get is a very short description of the actual operation and the year affects of it and a massive part of it is about Churchills discrepancies around Poland
