Summary

Secrets and Truth both have a price.

Pellucid Rose discovered her parentage only to find that her homeland, the Empire of Glass, is dying. But a messenger from the Ancient One appears and informs her that all is not lost. The catch? Only she can stop Glass’ destruction by rebalancing the First Ring, the source of all Truth. No pressure, but she has no idea where the ring is, let alone how to fix it.

Making matters worse, despite securing a promise from the emperor of Glass that he will suspend all hostilities toward Secrets, secrets continue leaking, exacerbating an already tense situation that threatens the very existence of the Empire of Secrets. What’s new? Only Pell can stop it.

With the fates of Glass and Secrets resting on her shoulders, what sacrifices will Pell be forced to make to save the universe?

Empire of Darkness is the fourth and final book in the enthralling God of Secrets paranormal fantasy series. Fans of Sarah J. Maas, K. F. Breene, and Laura Thalassa will adore USA Today best-selling author L. R. W. Lee’s vulnerable, intimate, and gritty tale of fierce mythical creatures, magical adventures, and unique ancient myth retellings.

Excellent series

What an ending. This world has given me hours of entertainment. With such a big world to get to know it’s written very well. Sarah has brought these characters alive so very well.

I just wow…

This was such an amazing ending to such an epic series. This series is one of those series that you will go back to and pick up on little things that you missed or at least I know I will. I hope that the author will decide to write more in this world as it was so well built.

Fantastic narration just pushed this one well past what I hoped for.

Such a fantastic story

I have loved this series of books so much. Such a release from the daily humdrum.

Sarah does a super job on making each character believable which I know is the truth after I blubbed a couple of times.

I’d love to hear more from Harpoc & Pel but I think L R W Lee has brought the Empire to its natural conclusion. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Balance at last

I can't believe it's over, after spending so much time with Pell and Harpoc I am going to missed them.

The book was great and really enjoyable just as the others, it's the conclusion of the series and all the events that led to were the characters are now finally makes sense.

Pell was such a fun and lovable character, I adored her iner minion monologue it was the very best, and all the time "Grace" made an appearance... it was awesome.
Harpoc with all the love he had for Pell, all his support was perfect.
Many wonderful secondary characters that you will look forward them to make an appearance, although my favourite's Ora!

Now I need to give a big Hooray for such an amazing narration, ever since the first book the narration was really good and it just kept getting better with each book. I'll look forward for more books narrated by Sarah Kisko, she's now on my list of favourite narrators.

Great ending

I’ve lived this series and sorry it has to end . The conclusion of the series was perfect and it was left in a way there could be more from Pel and Harpoc in the future .
