About this listen

As the First World War approaches, the Brigandshaw family faces an uncertain future in Elephant Walk—the gripping sequel in the Brigandshaw Chronicles.

Seb Brigandshaw has worked tirelessly to carve out a life of promise in Africa, driven by his dream of securing a lasting heritage for his children. His eldest son, Harry, stands on the brink of a bright future, having spent three years at Oxford. And during the summer of 1907, a blossoming romance with Lucinda at her Dorset family home offers Harry the hope of a life far removed from his father's past struggles.

But when a sudden telegram pulls Harry back to Africa, the future he envisioned is thrown into doubt. What has become of Seb? Harry needs to find answers, and as he does so, he must confront the weight of expectations that await him.

In a time where love, loyalty, and duty collide, Harry's choices will determine not only his destiny but the future of the Brigandshaw legacy itself.

Another trip of exqisite nostalgia and memories

Again another wonderfull story with so poignant memories and accurate historical content. A great book slightly overshadowed by the narrators unfamiliarity with the pronounciations of names and places.
