Summary

Simon Majumdar is a man on a mission, and he might just be hungry enough to accomplish it. Setting out in search of the ultimate meal, he travels to every corner of the globe - from China to Brazil and from Finland to Japan. He tries everything, from mouldy shark in Iceland (not very nice) to kare stew in the Philippines (almost unimaginably delicious) and befriends (and sometimes fights with) some extraordinary characters along the way.

Hilarious and heart-warming, his riotous adventures are a celebration of friendship and food.

A journey through the food and people of the world

Picked this up after a recommendation from Signe Johansen on Twitter. If you enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures, are mildly obsessed by food, this is a great listen. Well written and narrated and with a liberal seasoning of humour. If there was a Zantac award for food writing, this would be a contender.
