About this listen

The dead walk the land. The dungeon rises. War will move the Heavens and the Earth.

Powerful necromancers are on the move, and the dungeon has become a battleground. Without his faithful Wisp, Cal's mind slips - he begins creating traps and monsters that go against his already loose morals.

A direct threat from an unexpected force causes Cal's mind to stabilize, but he doesn't know for how long. Using every resource at his disposal, he works to keep his mind clear while he funds a search for his lost companion. When others fail him again and again, Cal takes matters into his own hands.

Deadly situations remind Dale that no matter how well he does in his secluded community, he is still considered a weakling in the greater world. Deciding that his physical and mental training are not enough, Dale resolves to gain strength by any means necessary.

Both are aware that they need to keep moving. If they stop, their choices could kill them.

CALAMITY! Unbelievably amazing.

Each and every book in this series so far has exceeded my expectations.

Can not express how much I liked it!

Time to join the cult.

A perfect end to the series

I loved this series of books. The characters are funny and thrilling. The performance makes it easy to understand who is talking with distinct voice changes for the many characters.

A suitable twist to a rollercoaster emotional ride in the only dungeon delve books I’m aware of told from the point of the dungeon itself.

Amazing and a must for fantasy / d&d fans

Still caught by this series

(From my review of the first book)
I listened to this series as a whole pretty quickly. It captivated me and made me wonder how it'd continue. The alternating POV was also nice and felt natural throughout, with the writing distinct enough between the characters that you didn't doubt whose eyes you were looking through. Every choice the characters made, made me switch between liking them, being annoyed and even shocked, which I love.
The whole RPG system is also used in a way that makes it feel much more 'natural' compared to the free-floating-screen type of RPG that can feel very unnatural to some, so if that is what turns you away from LitRPGs then you can try this one out without worry.
I loved Vikas Adam as a narrator when I got used to it, since it was the first time I heard a narrator which made each voice much more unique than I had heard so far. At first, I was confused and thought that 2 people were narrating (which I am not the biggest fan of) but he just has amazing control of his voice.

I recommend giving it a go!

That last line, oh dear lord the last line!

Very good story (almost called it a book)
I have very much enjoyed the different characters. The ending was guessed slightly ahead of time, but still very pleasing
