About this listen

Everything that thousands of men who started in dead bedrooms and lackluster relationships have learned and refined over the years, distilled into a single series of pro-man concepts. Dread is more than taking back your masculinity, but thriving in a society increasingly hostile towards men. Nothing gets soccer moms, feminists, and traditionally conservative wives angrier than watching men thrive in a way that may not necessarily benefit them (though it does if she's a value add to a relationship).

So for the man who wants to see a better way, there's Dread.

Rian Stone once called the Red Pill praxeology the Chilton Manual for intersexual dynamics. Chilton Manuals were model and make-specific handbooks that auto mechanics used to identify parts and processes to repair cars. Everything about that car, from the smallest lug nut to the biggest engine block, would be detailed in that manual. The Chilton Manual doesn’t care what you think about the car’s design, nor does it bother debating how best to repair or drive the vehicle. It only details what that car is. The Chilton Manual is a perfect praxeology.

Already, this changes everything.

Just finished this. Listened to many sections four or five times and gonna start right back at the beginning now. It’s THAT kind of book. Too much in here to sum up in a review, and can’t do it justice. As much about yourself and how utterly blind you are, using utterly ineffective tools and self-defeating strategies, with a complete lack of understanding about your predicament. I’ve read a lot of RP since my difficulties a few years ago, and this is probably the best so far in terms of depth of insight combined with practical solutions to maybe improve things - IF you want to. Some of the most difficult sections are those in which RS is writing about you and the time you wasted being sh1t. It’s as much about yourself as it is about your relationship. Buy it, read it, re-read it - and then the real work starts.

How to become a luxury good in the sexual marketplace. NOT a paint by numbers book,

You've heard of money, muscles, game. Sure, they're important, but they are the tactics to get you to a better place (whatever that may be) but if you don't also adopt the appropriate mental model, you will not get the results you want. This book helps you see the sometimes ugly and naked truth about how the world really works when it comes to relationships- what works and what doesn't, whether you like it or not, socially approved or not, contradictions and all. It ain't pretty, it is what it is. Proceed at the risk of having your entire worldwiew questioned and broken to shreds. Not everyone can swallow this bitter pill, most will continue to let life happen to them, only to keep getting the same shitty results. The few that make it out the other end will get a new lease on life. The choice is yours.

Nothing else to add, life-saving stuff throughout! I don't know if you got third volume on your mind, but I wouldn't mind if you kept them coming mate. 👍

Explaining mental models

Rian gives all this advice for free on his YouTube channel, and condensates all of his knowledge into this book. I already knew all of this. But I chose to listen to this audiobook once again. Even if only to thank him.
