About this listen
The quest, the clues, and the visions. Even the Oracle could never have predicted the passion that was to ignite outside of the Dragon Realm
Following the clues from a dream to the human realm, the Oracle is searching for the lost man that he’s had visions about. The man whom he thinks is the only one who can destroy King Daylor. But his encounter with the beautiful single mom, Melanie, unnerves him. He is unsettled by the intensity of the protective instinct that is rising up in him. It’s unlike him to be serious about anything. But this is so different.
Where will this burning desire lead and what does it mean for the Oracles quest?

O, Mel and Ike
Having so enjoyed the first two books in this series I looked forward to finding out more about The Oracle, who has played a pivotal role so far in these books, and the woman whom fate has in store for him.
O is a wonderful character, he has so many facets, he's weird, intense, serious but can also be laid back and flippant. One of his wings was shredded in the last battle so in human form he has come to earth to rest and try and find the human who can help them to defeat the King. But his power for visions and prophecies is not working as it used to, he keeps getting sidetracked, he keeps seeing a beautiful woman in his dreams. A red-headed woman who he likes to drop in on sometimes. He doesn't know her, but when he sees her it makes happy.
Melanie has been having strange dreams, she sees and interacts with a handsome man, a man she feels drawn to. Mel's hard working with a fun-loving attitude. She has a son Ike, who is eleven-years-old and they are on their way to take a vacation. Singing along with the radio, having fun until a tyre blew on the car in front of them causing it to zig-zagged all over the road. Mel managed to get past it, out of danger, stopped and walked back to see if the driver was all right. When he turned to her, she was shocked to see the man she had been dreaming about/with who after looking at her and Ike told Ike that he had met his mom in dreams and that he was an Oracle!
As he had never driven a car before he had no idea how to change a tyre so Mel tried to tell him how to do it but as she reached out to help him with the jack, she experienced visions of them together, he smiled and told her that he had also experienced it. Mel was horrified, Ike wasn't in those visions but O said she needn't worry all would be well.
Then O abandoned his car and joined them in theirs. O and Mel are a perfect couple, so playful in almost everything they do which makes the most intense moments less stressful. And there are numerous stressful moments in the funny, exciting well-written tale. O is an intriguing funny and odd character but Mel and Ike just accept him as he is.
I loved the humour in this book! When Mel, Ike, and O met, I could not stop laughing. O was so open and honest, telling them exactly who he was. They, of course, wanted proof. You could feel the love and respect Mel and Ike had for each other and O fit right in.
Will he continue his search for the man who would save the dragon realm by defeating the king? Will he walk away from Mel and the connection they both feel? No more spoilers from me, listen to this one yourself, you will not be disappointed.
Meghan Kelly again does a great job in narrating the story bringing every single character to life beautifully.

Great book in the series
The Oracle at his best, an annoying know-it-all, the chemistry with the woman of his dreams is sweet, funny and had me smiling all the way through the book as she gives as good as she gets. Recommend the whole series from start to finish!

Excellent dragon romance
Dragon's Desire was a fantastic listen. I adore the characters in The Dragon Realm series and delighted to finally get the chance to listen to the Oracle's journey. O finally meets her mate, Melanie, the woman of his dreams. Their story is endearing and, at the same time, steamy; I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Meghan Kelly's performance is spot on, and her tone voice fits the characters and their personalities. Dragon's Desire is an excellent addition to the series, which I strongly recommend.I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

What's my true name?
This book was funny and O(Owen) the Oracle was so mellow and cool I wanted to meet him . The journey between Mel and O was creatively conveyed and O's acceptance of Ike and Mel as family was beautiful. I liked the ending with O's father secret, but was a little confused with the epilogue about Idris and his possible mate?
