Summary

Six months ago, Eben Meiser drove away his business and bed partner with his miserly ways. Marlie Jacobsen is back now, and she didn't come alone. Expecting his baby, she needs his help to keep her safe from her new employer's mob ties. Dragons guard their treasure with their life, and he soon realizes there has never been a better treasure for him than Marlie and the baby she carries. Interesting take on the Scrooge story

This was only a short story so not much time to develop the back story. However both characters have no family left, one being an orphan the other's mother having recently died. Needless to say, his preoccupation with money had been a problem but that was only the outward manifesting of his inability with emotions. it was her trouble with the mob that brought them back together. His shifting ability turned out to be very useful and contributed to bringing them together again. A Sweet story.

QUICKIE PNR DRAGON

This was a different dragon. Possessive yes but not violent. He was more conservative than I was expecting.

Nicholas did a good job of narrating the story both male and female.

Quick easy dragon paranormal romance take on A Christmas Carol.

This retelling of the Ebenezer Scrooge story was an entertaining read. Eben and his dragon are only concerned with business and money. When his business partner Marlie starts getting under his skin her pushes her away. One wild night together and Eben drives Marlie away. 6 months later and She back and needs his help. The mob is after her... Eben shifts to his dragon to get Marlie away from the ones trying to kill her.... and their unborn child.

Narration by Nicholas Algernon was good, some of the female parts could use some work but its a good story.
