About this listen
Having barely escaped from the Plains of Fire with her life, Auri follows the pleas of her father and sets out for the safety and knowledge of the Dragon Masters. Once there, she hopes to immerse herself in their training and become the decisive edge that Terradin needs to stop Obsidian and his Rebels.
But before her journey has even truly begun, someone dear to her is ripped away from her. Reeling from the loss, and with Terradin growing ever darker around her, she is forced to make a terrible decision that will have lasting repercussions.
Does she cling to what once was? Or does she reforge herself anew like the fabled phoenix, and rise from the ashes to burn brighter than ever before.

Second parts are indeed good!!!
Where does Dragon Ties rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I simply love The Chronicles of Shadow and Light by Dusty Lynn Holloway. At the heart of this story is being where you belong and how to survive when odds are against you. Rob Goll brings the story to life with brilliant portrayals of the characters. I would not hesitate to listen to any book read by Goll.
What did you like best about this story?
The love triangle Nachal-Auri-Liran
What about Rob Goll’s performance did you like?
The Wizard of the audiobookdom, this one-man audio performance is spellbinding, and his ability to inhabit the characters is astounding. He does a believable woman’s voice, with a unique soft velvety quality. He makes you truly get lost in the story.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Torn between Love and Duty.
Any additional comments?
I could connect with all of the characters and really cared about all of them.
