An Action Packed Finale

Seleska, Heron, Nasataa, and their friends are on the run onces again in a page turning adventure to find three keys for the dragons before Atura and the manticores find them. They are given numerous disadvantages and it will take more than a little luck for them to succeed. Many people sacrifice their lives for Sela and her young (but no longer little) dragon. But when Heron is captured, Seleska has to decide what she is willing to risk and what their quest is truly worth.

The ending was surprising. There was an unexpected twist while still providing the happily ever after that we hoped for. The theme of forgiveness was tied throughout these episodes as well. What evil is too great to forgive? Seleska always seemed young and naive, and as much as I hoped she'd grow up by the end of the series, and there were a few hints that she changed a little, she still has a lot to learn. I would have liked her better if she had learned to be a little more adult about things. Still, it was a fun adventure with trials that were reminiscent of Hunger Games and HP Goblet of Fire. The narrator does a great job making you feel like you're in a teenage girl's head.

I received a free copy of the audiobook from the author and have reviewed it willingly.
