not your fourth wing
This is a book I pre ordered, but then I put different reading. I heard many say this was like the fourth wing and was compared, too. I tried to go in with an open mind on this one. I didn't want to be disappointed. But my god, I loved this book. The bonding with the dragons and other creatures. The magic they draw from their totem and the earth it brilliantly done.
Rai and credit had to go through many trile and obstacles along the way. They worked so hard together, and yet secrets were kept. I loved rufus as well when he came into it such a charater too.
This has been well worth the read. Hightly recommend
this audible done good in my opinion

Well told story by Tom
The narrator did not disappoint with telling this story!
The journey fredia and jai go through and the battles they face together and independently was gripping from start to finish.
Just disappointed that I have to wait till the next book to find out what happens as it ends on a cliff hanger!

Great take
Was not sure about the narrator’s voice at first but then it grew into the perfect voice and animation as the story progresses .Looking forward to the next book .

Hooked from the start
A very good and well-thought-out story. After reading and listening to a lot of fantasy, this book is now one of my favourites and I can not wait for the next book. The future story has plenty of scope and the character developments in the story will be interesting to see.

The story is great, the narration is super,
Love the concept of a guy being trapped and having to emerge like a butterfly and grow into himself. I really enjoyed the range of supporting characters, nicely written so I actually care. Part of that is influenced by the fab narrator, I could listen to him all day, genuinely. Relaxing voice, nicely paced, great differentiation between character voices. I have on occasion stopped reading other books as I could not get on with the narrator, glad to say no issues here. I'm rereading. Looking forward to the next book coming out.

The saliva
I’m really wanting to listen to this book. I’ve made it a few hours in. The storyline seems good. The narrator has a good voice. But I’m neurodivergent and the saliva in his voice is driving me insane. Can it be edited out somehow? I’m going to have to abandon the book.

Another Excellent Taran Matharu Book
Another excellent story from Taran Matharu which is gripping right from the start. The narration from Tom Babbage was a clear and the various roles within the story were well performed.
The only negative side is the unnecessary graphic language and adult content which seems a little forced. The repeated use of the 'c' bomb means it loses its shock factor and just becomes an irritant.
However, overall this is a very good read and hopefully the overly graphic adult content does not hinder its success.
