Summary

A boss, his assistant, a snowstorm and just one bed. What could go wrong?

They call him Dr. Perfect.

I call him Dr. Aloof, Dr. Arrogant, Dr. If-you're-going-to-fire-me-just-get-it-over-with.

If I had other options, I'd quit, but I need this job. Badly. So I jump at the chance to impress him by hand-delivering some important documents.

Yes, he's staying on a remote Scottish Island, but I've got it covered....

Until the ferry back is cancelled, there are no hotels on the island and there's a storm headed our way.

So I'm snowed in with my impossibly handsome boss, who barely knows my name, in a tiny one-bedroom cottage in the middle of nowhere.

But unlike the snow outside, his icy stare is beginning to melt and we don't need a generator to keep it warm inside.

It’s perfect!

If you want a cosy, steamy, feel good read then look no further. Dr Perfect is a well written, heartwarming tale about starting over, trusting and believing in yourself. It’s filled with fantastic characters, fun banter, and hot steamy goodness! I didn’t want it to end!

Ellie & Zack's Story ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I first listened to this book as soon as it came out, and loved it. I'd already listened to Dr. Off Limits, which was my first Louise Bay book.

I have now listened to both books a few more times, as they are such great stories. Brilliantly written, and narrated wonderfully by Shane East & Clare Corbett. Both of whom are excellent at what they do.

I have just relistened again, straight after listening to the brand new 3rd book Dr. CEO, as this book is the first time we meet Vincent, the main character in Book 3. This series is so good that it is a pleasure to keep coming back for another listen 😊

A feel-good book full of Britishisms!

Louise writes another great romance set in my old hometown, London. It’s always like a big hug reading British romance as it feels like home. I loved that both Ellie and Zack had secret passions that most definitely align with mine. No spoilers here, you need to read it to feast on this loveliness. This is a forced proximity (they get stuck in a snowstorm) with just one bed, workplace romance with an underlying message. I always enjoy it when an author manages to weave themes through a book of women overcoming things and the guy not being the cause of her newfound confidence but the one to acknowledge that she is in fact worth it. Add in the mention of some seriously delicious food and you’ve got a recipe for a great book.

Brit, fan-favourite Shane is Zack, giving us all the yummy Dr. Perfect vibes. He too is conflicted about some of his life choices and Ellie helps him realise that his dreams are worth chasing too. Clare gives us the self-deprecating Ellie desperate to keep her job and save for her dream career.

If you like romances set in Britain and you enjoy British voice acting, this is sure to be a hit for you. All in all another fantastic addition to Louise’s leading men and women.

Love the Cove family💗

I truly love the Cove family💕 Carole & John may have had a hectic time raising five boys and being Trail Blazers in the medical field but they instilled strong family values with. Each of the brothers are unique but they are loyal to their core. They are quick to give each other grief but if one is struggling there’s nothing they won’t do to help.

Zach is struggling with his professional life. He isn’t happy but fears his family will be disappointed with his passion project. But it’s that project that ultimately leads him to happiness both in life and love.

I love how Zach respects Ellie and her and is mindful of her doubts about losing herself. It’s sweet that he refuses to give up when he knows they can be great. Her ex truly left her in a bad place and I love that she opens herself up to Zach and lets love back in.

Zach and Ellie Make An Adorable Couple

Shane East and Clare Corbett brought Zach Cove and Ellie Frost to life. Listening to their voices tell the story elevates the experience. Shane's narrating of British men is fabulous and his voice just lures you into the character.

Clare made a wonderful Ellie. She portrayed the meek side of Ellie wonderfully and it helps the reader understand where Ellie's head is at with her trust issues.

I've been enjoying all the Cove brother's in the Dr. Series by Louise Bay and I really enjoy listening while I follow along on my e-reader. I totally recommend this to anyone as it helps immerse you into the story while you're wisked away into their lives. For a time, you are somewhere else.

Nathan and Ellie's story is a mix of office romance and close proximity; both of which I love. It wasn't insta-love but they get-on quite quickly. Not too much angst in this one, just a little hiccup in their relationship that works itself out quick enough.

They make a cute couple and their story was filled with love. They cared for each other in the way that makes a relationship work. This made their fast-paced romance believable. As the story says, there is no set time you are waiting for that you must be together before you know. You know when it's right and Ellie and Zach just knew. This knowledge made their chemistry pop off the pages, it could be heard in the voices of the narrators. There was hesitation, caring, and love emanating from them, which made them a really perfect couple. So, maybe Dr. Perfect is actually perfect, but in a different way.

This series is great

A great romantic series set in the UK. I love the brothers and their parents. A big plus is that they are a family of doctors . A dream to fall into with each book/ audiobook

The female lead ruined this book for me but both characters felt overly simplistic

Please make the female protagonist more like a three dimensional grown woman and adult and less like an oversimplify child , I liked the authors previous books but this was just turning the character into a one dimensional child that didn’t at all feel like an adult woman. I had to put the book down unfortunately which was such a shame I like this author usually this one was really unreadable to the end
