As the opening book of a series it was very jovial, light hearted and enjoyable to listen to. I have listened to lots of great books narrated by Becky Doughty before but this is my first Virginia Smith book. I was very excited to receive this series of 5 books free to review from my own personal perspective - I am very much looking forward to the next book. This short prequel to book 1 gave me a taster of the fun, humorous and very light hearted style of Virginia Smith, well written and narrated and lovely to listen to while crafting. Looking forward to the next adventure for each of the characters.
