Excellent supernatural crime thriller
I love a crime thriller with a hint of the supernatural so almost as soon as I'd finished book 2 I started this one. Rose and her UCIT team are called in to investigate the death of a women at a climbing centre at Elford Country Park and next to the body is a creepy stick doll known as a poppet. Just the mention of that doll sent shivers down my spine. The book is well written and perfectly paced with some good twists. We did get some answers to questions about Rose's backstory in this book and I felt very sorry for her as her personal problems started to spiral out of control. I really, really hope that there will be more books in this series.
Excellent narration by Lisa Coleman.
