Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
It looked like it was Game Over for the Rossmeister General.
I was staring down the barrel of the big four-oh! And what did I have to show for it?
I was an out-of-work rugby coach who was soon to be divorced. My old dear was sliding away in a nursing home in a certain suburb of West Dublin. And my old man had brought the country to the verge of, like, nuclear annihilation.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, my teenage daughter was in love again. My sister-in-law was about to give birth to a baby that was possibly mine. And Castlerock College was about to go – I can’t even say the word – co-ed.
People kept saying that we were facing Ormageddon. But I was like, ‘Hey, it’s not the end of the world.’
Because Father Fehily used to say, ‘Sometimes good things come to an end so that better things can come to a beginning.’

A fond farewell to the Rossmeister General
What can I say - the series stuck the landing and had me laughing like a maniac on my work commute. I will miss the series greatly.

A bittersweet ending to the series
Sad to reach the end of the series of books and it’s bittersweet, but there hasn’t been anywhere for the characters to go really in the last number of years/books.
This is much better than the last one.
Another great performance from Rory Nolan.

Absolute Brilliance again from Paul
Another masterpiece from Mr.Howard ! A must buy
I’m Absolutely Gutted that this is the last edition of a series of books I’ve followed and collected since my very early teens
the books that helped me so much with my dyslexia and had me laughing at some of my lowest points and cringing at some of my best !!! I can’t recommend these books enough to anyone
Thank you Paul, Honestly you’ve got me through some very tuff times with genius levity and writing that I’ll always cherish
RO’CK on 🤘🏻😎🥰☺️

Hard to say goodbye
I’ve grown up with Ross over the years and was genuinely heartbroken to hear this was the last book. I’ve just finished it and it couldn’t be a more fitting end to Ross’s journey. Another spectacular read from Paul. I laughed and I cried… a lot.. goodbye Ross you will be missed.
