Good

I enjoyed listening to Johnny Peppers

This book may be short , but still so good. We have dog napping and still great twists.

A barking story

I loved this book. I normally don't like short stories because by the time you get to know the characters the story is over but that is not the case with this short story and I just loved it. I think it was the right length with a lot packed in. I really like the fact that Red and Billy Don are the main characters in this story because they are such a hoot and are actually my favourite characters. Whatever they plan or try to do never goes to plan but they somehow get away with it. The dog napping was also a nice change from the usual murders that happen in Blanco County but then again any story set there is good for a laugh.
Red and Billy Don are working but gladly put down there tools when there employer asks them for help. His wife won custody of the dog she never wanted in a bitter divorce battle and he wants Teddy back. Can the bungling duo find away to return a man's best friend to him? The wife lives in a gated community and they thought getting past the locked gate was going to be there biggest headache, that is until they see the dog get dog napped.
I liked the narrator, he has read the last few books in the series and I hope he continues with the rest as I like the laid back manner he uses for the voices.I
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
