About this listen

The Talbot clan has settled in to life at Etna Station. Mike has earned the rank of Lieutenant, but there’s no time to rest. Colonel Bennington has ordered Mike and his squad of misfits on a secretive mission to New York City, where they are tasked to complete a complicated rescue that rapidly becomes nearly impossible to accomplish. Cut off from all support, they face what may be the single most dangerous threat to all mankind as a super predator emerges from the rubble of the once vibrant city, now a broken shadow of its former self.

As their mission becomes more covert and questionable than they had originally been told, Mike, BT, Gambo, and their team are forced to choose between the security of their families and what’s best for humanity. Will they succeed in what must be done? Or will they fall along the way as their ever-adapting, quickly evolving zombie enemies press the attack?

Enjoyed it

Really enjoyed this addition to the ZF world and it’s a nice change of pace from the previous books, I like that they are now conscripted into a marine core going on missions to help on of the last communities survive :)
Sean Runnette as usual nailed the narration!

Continue the saga

Mark keeps you begging for more and although this book seems a little short it has as always enough to keep you wanting more. Sean and Mark are an awesome pairing like peanut butter and jelly or cherry and pot tarts and honey and tinned ham.
Awesome work Mark

The multi virs in Marks head knows no boundaries

Mike bt Tommy and Gary against the next evolution of zombie
A fear and humorous trip into new York to help more suvivers and to make 2 new friends
And a few new enemies (in the way that only Mike dose)
Topped with The end bonus of including Eric (another one of Sean runnette voiced characters) I do hope this is just the start of a new time line for both Mike and Eric

excellent again

great new installment from Mr Tufo, although my only criticism is the narrator Sean runnette he's always been amazing in all the mark tufo books but this time he was lacking when doing B.T and Mrs Deneaux, just sounded like Mike was talking to himself, got a bit confusing. still brilliant tho.

Moreish.

I’m now indulging in a mammoth audio listen of Mark Talbots escapades in a zombie apocalypse with time glitches, vampires and something else ( to be discovered) brilliant!

another thrilling episode

because of the hilarious laugh out loud moments... like Trip and his snew and Mike's cactus insult, I've had to stop listening to these books in public places. absolutely loved it
the near death confessions of bt, Mike and Gambo was the funniest thing I've ever heard
