About this listen

The Djinn Tamer Bronze League boxset is a complete LitRPG trilogy with plenty of progression and monster-battling elements, perfect for fans of Pokémon and My Hero Academia.

Jackson Hunt dreams of becoming a professional monster tamer - to capture, power up, and battle creatures called Djinn. But dreaming of becoming a champion and actually achieving mastery are two very different things.

Before he can ever become a champion, Jackson must tame his first monster - a wild, feral Djinn left to him by his dead mother. And then there’s the small problem of fighting in illegal underground tournaments.

Join Jackson and his team of Djinn as they level up, tame new monsters, and battle their way to the top of the league. Skills will be tested, powers unleashed. Victory won’t come without a cost.

Experience LitRPG’s first foray into monster-battling today in this special edition omnibus including the entire Djinn Tamer: Bronze League Trilogy.

Books included in the set:

Book 1: Starter

Book 2: Rivals

Great Trilogy

This is a good round up from the starting of Djinn taming to the finale of the Bronze league with the personal and professional battles contained therein. Although the first part is a little slow the overall story arc is the usual underdog story and how those battles are weathered with great fortitude and perseverance.
Narration was good from Wyman and suited this story well. Hopefully the next story arc Silver league isn't too far away as well.
I requested this audio and have decided to leave my thoughts for everyone.

Epic trilogy

This epic trilogy tot rewrites the 'pokemon-ish' genre from the ground up all the while sticking to a formula that gives you a 90s nostalgia trip. All the MC' and supporting cast are well rounded to the point each could carry there own trilogy in their own right. The only very minor issues I had were the love story sub plots was never really resolved (but maybe that's to come in the next series) and the epilogue was a tad Jarring. Other than that all I want to say is this series deserves more attention and if it were me optioned for the small screen ASAP

For pokemon fans

The book was a fun ride, i really enjoyed the pokemom style of the book and had a great time listening to it. the Djinn where cool and you cared about them. I want to explore more the world outside taming. The narrator did a fantastic job with the book and I will be looking in to more books done by him. my only complaint is the MC can be a bit of a much at times, with his over confidence and complaining. But thats a YA for you. i do recommend the book if you are in to pokemon and digimon

Epic Escapism for All

Regardless of whether you've experienced much of Pokemon or similar stories, Djinn Tamer is an extremely enjoyable story with a ton of creativity thrown in to ensure that it stands out on its own. I did feel there could have been some more fleshing out of supporting characters, but otherwise I'm very much looking for to the Silver League trilogy to come.

Very Enjoyable

I enjoyed the story and the characters. Would like to read / listen to the adventures of Jackson and friends in the Silver League.

Overall good listen

I saw this book trilogy advertised on Facebook. I've been a big fan of pokemon and digimon over the years and I have loved sitting down and listening to these books. The story is built well and whilst the first and second books are shorter and slower than the third it was part of the world building which is enjoyable. I am happy I got to enjoy all 3 of the books apposed to only having one book which might have put me off whilst I waited for more. Have just finished the trilogy and I'm very much looking forward to the next set of books. I would recommend these books to younger audiences as well as any adults who still have a love for pokemon.

Great series, can't wait for the Sliver league

Book 1 is a great introduction, even though the main character makes some ridiculously stupid decisions. Book 2 builds on the foundation well but in a predictable fashion. Book 3 takes a surprise direction with a satisfying ending - only the epilogue lwading into the next series. It's definitely a single story but each book as an ending - I hate cliffhangers!
