Summary

There’s a doorway on Mars that has mankind’s greatest minds perplexed.

Deep beneath Aeolis Mons an ancient secret is revealed, and a team of explorers led by Forest Judge, Deputy Commander of Gale Base Alpha, are dispatched to investigate. The prehistoric gateway reveals a biosphere preserving Earth’s distant past, and as Judge and crew stand on the threshold of mankind’s greatest discovery the Martian ground trembles.

A roar thunders from within, the doorway closes, and the team is trapped.

Six mission specialists, each with unique skills, each with different reasons for wanting to break free of the primordial trap. To get home Judge is forced to choose between escape and changing the course of humanity.

What will he do?

Good story, good reader

Unfortunately, the producers should listen to the recording, as it is full of errors and repeats!
This is a shame, as the story is original, entertaining, and well read!
I will definitely research the writer of the book, and will look out for other work by the reader!
I have rated both the story and the reader with five stars!
I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Just OK

I liked the idea for the story, but the characters seemed to be frustratingly dumb. Not only did everyone of them get trapped in an airlock, they then walked through the other door in the airlock and trapped themselves in a dino infested biodome leaving all their survival gear locked in the airlock. The leader of this unfortunate band faced every dire situation by either constantly rolling his shoulders or cracking his neck or knuckles, not the most effective survival tactic as half as them were eaten. The narrator was ok but there were numerous recording mistakes all through the story.
