Summary
You never forget the one that got away, do you?
Nell Mason is extremely happy with her life – or at least, that’s what she tells herself. She’s lucky to have a high-powered job as a lawyer, even if it does come with an eccentric set of billionaire divorce clients. And she’s absolutely fine living with her sweet, if slightly dull, boyfriend Gus in their London flat where they have very sensible sex once (OK, sometimes twice) a week. She’s definitely not stuck in a rut.
But when Nell bumps into childhood friend and first love Arthur Drummond who broke her heart fifteen years ago, she’s more than a little shaken. A good story
I liked this book my only criticism is that the voices were too similar and sometimes it was hard telling who was who, but I enjoyed it and would listen again as there were some good laugh out loud moments.

Loved the story but didn’t like narration
Really enjoyed the story, true chick lit.
Surprised the author was the narrator as it felt dialogue was rushed, no expression and no other accents for different characters so didn’t know who was who.
Hoping she doesn’t narrate her other books :(

Love Sophia's narration
Contrary to what others say I absolutely love the way Sophia narrates and don't think there could be a more authentic way to bring her characters to life. Honestly don't understand the criticism and would strongly recommend don't be influenced by the reviews!!! @sophia please don't listen to the reviews and keep narrating your own books!!! Can't wait for the next one.

Hilariously Relatable
Now when I say relatable, I don't mean I have rich 'lord and lady' friends. What I mean is the emotions and the scenarios the characters go through are pretty realistic. It's hilarious and a teeny tiny bit cringe worthy in the best possible way. It's read by the author and therefore is heard how it's intended. Highly recommend this breezy read/listen.

I love the author of these books, I love every single book she’s written and I desperately want her to keep writing and never have a holiday so I can continually listen to her books, written beautifully, read beautifully, pure heaven, I started listening as soon as it was released and devoured it in every spare moment I had xxx pure heaven xxx

As always light, hilarious & just a fantastic listen
Sophia’s books are the perfect antidote to a bad day, bad week, bad month! Hilarious characters, always some memorable names & wonderful plot. Really liked Nell. Recommend if you need a laugh and love a rom com.
