Who chose the narrator?

I gave up on this Audible because the narration on this book, which I really wanted to listen to, killed the experience. It's tantamount to torture, with a voice similar to early days speech synthesis.

I hope Anthony Matthews reads this review and suggests a revision. It's impossible to enjoy the content of the book in its present form.
