I’m a desperate man. One week out of prison and trouble found me again. When a mafia hitman comes after me, I end him with my bare hands. But the beautiful florist witnesses my crime.
Now she’s my prisoner. I can’t let her go. My soul's unsalvageable, forever living in a den of sin. But the rest of me knows what it wants. And I want her.

Draws you in from the opening chapter
What a fabulous storyline from the brilliantly talented partnership of Renee Rose and Alta Hensley. Armando who has recently been released from prison, struggling to adapt to his freedom finds himself in a dark place which the authors clearly described. When an attempt is made on his life and witnessed by Hannah he cannot go against his own rules to hurt women but cannot let her walk away after what she has witnessed. Hannah who runs a florist shop is secretly attracted to Armando when he was a frequent visitor to the shop before he went away. Having not seen him in so long she recognises him when the scuffle lands inside her shop. The only witness to his crime and in his misguided methods of how to protect her he forces himself into every area of her life until a solution is found. Living in close quarters, the chemistry builds to off-the-chart levels between these two but while she may be slowly warming his cold heart there is still an unknown threat to his life. When the threat comes too close to home with Hannah put at risk ending on a huge cliffhanger for listeners leaves you eagerly anticipating the next installment in this two-part story.
This is a must for listeners, the narrators truly dug deep to express the emotional journey of these characters, if you love an angst-ridden bad boy then totally recommend this story.
