This book on dementia caregiving is a lifesaver for anyone with a family member who has it. It's like a handbook for dealing with all the tough stuff, but it's written in a way that's easy to understand. I used it for my health project on aging, and it gave me tons of practical tips and tricks. Even though it talks about a serious topic, it also reminds you of the love you have for your family member. If you're helping someone with dementia, this book is a must-read!

Model that Cares for Dementia Patient and Caregive
This Dementia Survival Guide for Caregivers focuses on caring for the dementia patient and the patient's caregiver. Although most guides to caring for dementia patients mention the need for caregivers to be aware of their own needs, few are as explicit as the Care+ plan. This audiobook provides strategies such as breathing exercises, adult daycare, and respite facilities to ensure the caregiver has time away from the caregiving responsibilities.
Additionally, this guide discusses legal and financial responsibilities that may need to be addressed by caregivers. Power of Attorney, custodial or guardianship assignments, wills and trusts, and end-of-life decision documents are clearly explained.
This audiobook is detailed, informational, and written with compassion.
