A Compassionate Guide
My last nursing job was in a nursing home, where our locked unit cared for residents with progressive dementia—a heartbreaking disease that takes a heavy toll on both families and caregivers. This audiobook, written by a nurse, offers invaluable practical tools for managing behaviors and symptoms while also emphasizing the importance of self-care. It’s a compassionate, experience-driven guide that I highly recommend to anyone navigating the challenges of dementia caregiving.
