The author has a deep & intimate relationship with God, and draws us into desiring this
The author has a deep & intimate relationship with God, and draws us into desiring this: no one could write this out of head knowledge, it is obviously from deep & personal relationship. Listening and reading Eric Gilmour’s books creates a longing inside of me for more of God: heart knowledge not head knowledge. It is very well narrated, but I would have preferred it to have been narrated by Eric, although that does not in any way detract from the content.
I am listening to it in the mornings, and it motivates me to set aside time for God: that is an achievement in this world which is constantly vying for our time and attention.
I highly recommend this book.
