Great content, lacked PDF & narrator not great

Fantastic book, concepts explained in depth and pitched at a technical level without diving deep into trivial maths, so in that sense I'd give a 10/10 for Chollet. However there was no PDF accompanying this audiobook, meaning references to figures was pointless. Also the narrator, while generally a good performance, did make an ordeal of some mathematical pronunciations, which could have been avoided... so a 5/10 for the rest.

Clear and Concise

Very good overall structure to this book. My first 'academic' book in audio format. Clear explanations of topics and good general supportive dialogue. I found listening is an effective way to absorb information and can fit into my day when driving, walking etc. I learned a lot from this book but didn't grasp all concepts first time.....I would consider listening to it again as I grow my knowledge of certain ML topics alongside. Highly recommend.

Does not work as an audiobook.

While one can tell the original text is good, this audiobook version is not. All code samples, which are many, have been left out and no effort has been made to adapt original text to audio format.
