Intriguing. Insightful. Delightful.
Robin Morgan-Bentley asked some great questions, and Deborah Harkness gave some intriguing and fantastic answers in return. It was nice to get to listen to this Audible Session where the main focus revolves around the release of Ms. Harkness' newest novel, Time's Convert - which focuses on Marcus and Phoebe, both of whom we meet in the All Souls Trilogy. We get to hear more about Deborah's work and what inspired her to write the phenomenal bestselling series, along with some behind-the-scenes action on the creation of the TV show, her role as producer, and just how involved in the creative process of it all she is.
It was just so intriguing to listen to Deborah as she talks about writing A Discovery of Witches, what inspired her to write it, and why she wrote it the way she did. Her mind is such an interesting place, and I'm so happy that I found this Audible Session and listened to it; I could listen to Deborah talk all day, especially when it comes to her characters, this world, and how she built it all.
If you're a fan of the All Souls books, or just anything and everything to do with Deborah Harkness, then give this FREE Audible Session - that's only thirteen minutes long - a go. It was intriguing, insightful, and a delight to listen to; I just wish it could've been longer!
