Summary

FROM THE #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF HOLY ISLAND AND IMPOSTOR

THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A COINCIDENCE...

When the body of a talented photographer is found on the rocks beneath the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, DCI Ryan and his team of detectives immediately suspect the worst. But, since none of their potential suspects seems to have a motive, the case runs cold.

Then, when another body is found dead on a lonely stretch of road near Hadrian’s Wall and their only suspect has an airtight alibi, the team are faced with another crime without a perpetrator.

With the number of unexplained deaths in the area increasing rapidly and only a series of coincidences to work from, Ryan and his team must find the invisible link between them to crack the case—before it’s too late.

Can Ryan solve his most dangerous case yet?

Murder and mystery are peppered with romance and humour in this fast-paced crime whodunnit, set amidst the spectacular Northumbrian landscape.

What’s happened to Gregsons voice??

I’ve loved listening too all the DCI Ryan saga books, but what the heck happened too Gregsons voice in this one…. It’s a real shame when it’s the same voice artist that no research has been done to match the character

Jonathan Keebles narration

I guessed the end. And also was clear that the book will finish with a cliffhanger. Means the author is running out of ideas. The idea that people get together to kill someone who is not connected to them on behalf of someone else was already explored by the series "Unforgotten".

Great ending 👏

Lj Ross really has you involved with all the characters in her stories.

I hadn't realized until I found myself getting more emotional as the books went on.

I am sad that this is the final of the Dcs Finley Maxwell Ryan series which I would definately recommend 😔

great story well narrated

gripping story, well paced and engaging, topped off with a narration that had a natural feel whilst clearly identifying the characters which seemed to augment the authors imagery.

The story was excellent

I thought the narrator was not so good and the ending was of no surprise.

Great!

The series is back to it's best after a couple of 'slightly less than stellar' instalments. Very much looking forward to the next one..
Excellence from Jonathan Keeble as usual.
