Very Different
One of the strangest books I've listened to, had a few sniggers along the way with Vincent and of course his long suffering wife who he's classed as a banshee. Very different one needs to listen to it to appreciate it and can be done in one sitting. Written by Frank J Edler new to me and narrated by Rob Gabaldon, in a good clear voice.

An interesting start
I’ve just finished listening to Death Gets a book and I’ll start my feedback with the narration. I found the reading to be a little quick for me, so I played it at 0.95 speed. It gave a little more time to some of the ‘pauses’ in conversation. The variety of character voices was good with clear diction. Some audiobooks, I have to rewind to find out who’s speaking. There were one or two mispronunciations of words but they did not detract from the story. As for the story itself; I wasn't sure about the Pink donkey show start, as it had nothing to do with the overall plot and it may have been unnecessarily graphic for some. There were some expletives, which suited the story, but some were unnecessary and detracted a little from the flow. The story was a mix of Terry Pratchett Discworld characters with Death and Ramtop witches, plus a good measure of Jeff Bridges as the Dead Cowboy from the movie RIPD. I think the stories could develop further but should avoid similarities with any Discworld or RIPD characters. I also think the story would benefit from a little more description detail in scene setting and character building.

Funny
I found this quite quite funny and brilliant writing. The narration does the story great and makes the story flow perfectly.

Engaging
This was a fantastic listen.
I was intrigued from the very beginning.
This was a very surprising story about death, friendship, revenge, and love.
The narrater was amazing. He brought Vincent and all the characters to life.
